I'm Not Tired!!!

Chandler has decided that he no longer needs to take a nap. He is only 13 months old. He NEEDS a nap. Or better yet, his mom NEEDS him to take a nap.

He keeps falling asleep in random places and I happened to have my camera handy for this one. If I try to move him to his bed then he wakes up and has a fit. So after I took the picture, I gently put a blanket under his head and let him sleep in his high chair for a bit.

Clearly he is tired and needs a nap, but I can't figure him out. He is by far my most stubborn child, and I am not sure if I like that!!!
Note: In the top picture if you can see it, he still has part of his lunch in his mouth. But no, he's not tired.

Mommy, I Need a Band-Aid

Jordan barely got poked in the eye, and he was on my case forever that he needed a Band-Aid. A Band-Aid always makes it better. I gave in and put one on his eye, thinking that it would make him crazy. It didn't.

He left it on for more than 24 hours. Even in the tub. His eyelashes were stuck to it, and I even had to go to Pocatello, and decided it wasn't worth the fight to make him take it off. He had to go to the doctor for an ear ache, and the doctor could only laugh at him. He suggested we put one on his ears to make them better. Who needs antibiotics when you have a Band-Aid. When I went to the store, people thought that he really had gotten hurt, not knowing it was nothing.
Just another thing to make us laugh.

Hayley's Cheerleading Debut

Hayley went to a mini cheer camp on Saturday, and then that night they performed at half time of the Basketball game. They were so cute, and those of you who know Hayley in public settings, it is amazing that she did this without crumbling where she stood.

I know that the picture doesn't show much action, but my camera always clicked just a little late every time. She had so much fun doing this, and she even learned how to shake those little hips. She has been singing the "funky chicken" cheer ever since.
Great job Hayley!!!

A Very Fun Christmas

All Jordan wanted for Christmas was a green football. Luckily we found one. He loves everything that is green.

Chandler didn't care to much about the presents, he sure was happy though.

Hayley wanted make-up, make-up, make-up. She always looks so pretty now.

All Brock has talked about for 6 months is a Broncos football jersey with shoulder pads. On Christmas morning, he instantly got all dressed up and then told me, "Mom it is okay that Santa only brought me shoulder pads." I guess he was expecting all of the football pads. Oh well, he loves it, he almost had the pants worn out already.
We had Christmas at my mom and dad's with Abbey and Justin. We had a blast. It was a bad blizzard that night and Spence got up super early to milk the cows and be back before the kids got up. He made it, but I was a little worried, because it was so yucky out. Overall we had a great time.
