Over Memorial Day weekend the Armstrong family went to McCall and stayed in a cabin that my parents rented. It was a BLAST!!!!! We were very laid back. We went to the fish hatchery, the freezing cold Payette Lake and dipped our toes in and found out that Spence, Justin, Brock, Bailee, and by accident, Jordan were the toughest at braving the very cold water. The guys went fishing and Brock caught and ate his own fish. He said that they were the best fish he had ever eaten. We played cards until our Poker faces were worn out, and laughed until we almost peed our pants. We had plenty to eat too.
Mom got us all matching sweatshirts so that we could all get some new family pictures taken. What a chore to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time. My dad sure ran fast after setting the timer. This family picture was taken just out the back door of our cabin.
We ate ice cream to our hearts content, and no worries for the guys, we had satellite so they could watch the basketball playoffs. We were never without a pop. I have a great family and we had the time of our lives.

Finally

Brock has finally lost his first two teeth. He has been waiting so long to lose a tooth. He had some friends that were losing them in pre-school, and he has been feeling pretty left out.
They were really loose and he wanted me to pull them out, but he was also very scared about it. We started counting and had the first one out by the time we counted to five. The second one pretty much fell out after that one. He didn't even know that they had come out he was so stressed about it. The tooth fairy hasn't come yet, he wanted to take his teeth to school for show and tell today. He was also very excited, because he lost them while he was still in first grade.
Brock also thinks that he is cool, because he and Mattie both have holes in their teeth now. I had to pull hers out for her a couple of weeks ago.

Happy Mother's Day

I want to wish a very happy mother's day to my mom, and to Spence's mom. My mom is such an inspiration to me. She never stops until she knows that all of her children and grandchildren are taken care of. She has always been one of my very best friends.
Spence's mom has raised a wonderful son. She should feel very honored for that. I have greatly enjoyed being apart of her family, and I am so grateful for everything that she does for me and my family.
I hope that you both had a great mother's day, and we love you so much.
