T-Ball

Jordan, Chandler and Eli were on the same T-Ball team this year.  They had so much fun playing together.
I love my cute little ball players.  And of course, you can's go wrong when you get a medal at the last game!!!

Las Vegas

For last years Christmas, Rick and Peg took us adults to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway.  We had such a fun time.  We went to Cirque du Soleil's Mystere, and Ka.  They we fantastic!!!  We did tons of walking and took in all the sights.  We did a little shopping, and a lot of eating.  Of course the few pictures that I took were all of food, but Peg has a lot of pictures on her camera.

These were our first meal in Vegas.  Volcano Nachos and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.  They were so so good.  Spence and I shared them and barely made a dent in them.
Of course we had to go to Serendipity and get a Frozen Hot Chocolate...YUM!!!

Mom treated us all to the Bellagio's all you can eat buffet. I was in heaven. They had as many crab legs as you could eat. I love crab legs. It was so good!!!

While we were there, Pete Rose was at a sports store signing autographs.  It was pretty cool.

Halloween 2011 Backtrack

I just found where I had 2011 Halloween Pictures.  So now my posts are not in order.  Oh well. The kids were way excited for Halloween this year.  Chandler was super Spiderman
Hayley was a very fancy Gypsy...
Brock was a very standard Basketball player...
Jordan was a very brave, and maybe a little scared "army guy"

Christmas 2011

What a fun year this Christmas was.  The anticipation almost did these poor little kids in.  This year they wanted to stay home for Christmas morning.  Of course, they had to wait until dad got home from the barn to see what Santa brought them   Their hopes and dreams came true when they saw what they got.   Chandler got a collection of dirt bikes.  He was so thrilled.  Jordan, Hayley and Brock all got I Pod touches.  What a quite morning we had while they all played with their new things.

Chandler's #4

Chandlers 4th birthday was December 5th 2011.  He was so excited to have a birthday.  He counted down for weeks.
Of course you know how 4 year olds open a gift.  They tear it open, take a quick peak, throw it to the side so they can open the next gift.
He is such a sweet little boy.  I am so glad that he is a part of our family.  Love you bud!!

Jordan #6

My darling Jordan turned 6 this past November.  He always looks forward to a birthday, but gets too shy when all of the attention is directed towards him.  He had a great day, and is always easy to please.  Happy Birthday my favorite little toothless six year old boy.

Nike Women's Marathon

October 2011 was a very exciting time for me.  All summer, April and I raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and in turned we were trained to run in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco.  It was a long stressful summer, trying to raise all of the money, but I raised almost all of it.  We flew to San Francisco with big team from the Boise area, and met up with 20,000 other women who were there to run.  About 5,000 of them were Team in Training members, who also raised money for the Society.  While there, I met a ton of amazing women.  Some were cancer survivors, some had spouses who were survivors, or were recently diagnosed.  Others, themselves were recently diagnosed, and were there to run before their treatments were started.  Others like myself were there to help out in a wonderful cause, hoping that someday it will really help someone in need.  There were a few times during the race that I thought April would kill me.  But I fought back, and we were able to finish together.  I would like to have been faster, but I determined to get faster.  Our time was around 5:45.  Not too bad for a first timer!!

While in San Francisco, were were able to so a little sight seeing.  We went to Alcatraz which was fantastic.  There was a few times while there that a weird feeling would come, knowing what all went on there.
We also went to the wharf and ate some incredible seafood.  Some clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl,  incredible Thai Food, and of course April and I ordered midnight Pizza!!

Running this race was a wonderful exprience for me.  It was such a fantastic weekend, and I hope that someday, I can run a marathon again!
